Remains of Ellis Ruley Exhumed

Those of you who’ve read We Are Water may be interested in some recent news from my hometown (Norwich CT.) In my novel, the character of the outsider artist Josephus Jones was loosely based on Norwich artist Ellis Ruley, whose death (and the earlier death of his son-in-law) were declared accidental at the time but may have been homicides, perhaps racially motivated. Now the bodies of both men have been exhumed and will be studied for evidence of foul play. See the link below to read about this fascinating development.
